REGION
Wine proceeding from La Pobla de Massaluca and municipality, with Denomination of Origin Terra Alta. With a rich and long wine tradition, La Pobla de Massaluca has an extension of 43,2 km2 and sits more than 350 meters above sea level, the town lives with intensity the Garbi and the Cerç winds, making of this spectacular zone a natural enclave tor vineyards. With a Mediterranean climate and scanty rain, La Pobla de Massaluca possesses environment of great natural and historical interest.
ORIGIN
An intense young and spectacular red wine born from sun drenched beautiful terraces that decorate low and undulating hillsites at over 300 meters above sea-level. With strong and deep soils with an excellent exposition, making it a unique environment place from which to obtain excellent grape quality and great yields.
VINEYARD AND HARVEST
For this wine Caterra has exclusively used grapes from vines over 30 years old to achieve a young wine with lots of body, structure and balance

VINIFICATION
Using grapes with o perfect ripeness and hand harvested, the carbonic maceration took piece in order to achieve through a controlled fermentation in stainless stee| vats at 25°C, the desired aromas and co|our intensity.
TASTING NOTES
Wine with a deep red cherry color and purple-bue hints. Bri||iant and alive, this is a great quality wine and one at the first to produced during the 2015 season. Beautifu| and e|egant entry, with a sensation of red fruits and an agreeable sensation of tannins. ln mouth it is round, balanced, fruity and tasty with sensations of |icorice and a long post-taste.
TEMPERATURE
Best between 16 end 18°C.
ACCOMPANIMENT
Classic: Oven-baked bream, Catalan style.
Terroir: Suckling with fried banana.
Ethnic: Female duck magrei with orange compote and chocoIate sauce.
